At first this website was just a quick thing I put together in hope of getting the Communication Ribbon, for my uniform. I decided I was going to have to work harder to have something I was going to be proud of.

            I first tried a red and yellow format, and it really wasn’t very good. I tried a patriotic design next. The problem was, I had worked on it for several days getting it to look right and forgot that it was free. Since it was, it needed ads to support it’s self’s monthly price.

            So the ads automatically appeared at the top of the page. The reason this was a problem was that it covered up the title. Since I couldn’t move the ads, I moved the title. I also had to change the color of the title.

            A good thing is that in my spare minutes one day, I was able to put in a background tune to the page of, The Halls of Montezuma. And an animated cursor that says, SEMPER FIDELIS!

            I then entered pages like, creed, hymn, obligation, site map and ribbon chart. They were fairly easy. Finally I made the donations page that any money collected will be sent to the salty dawn young marines to help families buy their uniforms, gear and provide money for camping trips.

     I also added a good books page and have been sponsered by a haircutting company to cut kids hair, any style, FOR FIVE BUCKS!
